Title : Deprivation Release 1.0
Filename : depriv1.bsp
Release Date : 12th January, 1997
Author : Dale Murray - The Black Eagle
Email Address : hoteagle@hotmail.com
Description : A symetrical deathmatch level aimed at a larger amount of
players, preferably 6 or above. Although the concept and
construction of this level was completely from scratch, I
have been told that it is in some ways similar to the very
popular Doom2 level 7. Level includes a secret sniper point,
wind tunnels, water, 3 destinct stories, etc.
Just play it and I'm sure you will enjoy it.
Usage Instructions : Put the file DEPRIV1.BSP in to your QUAKE/ID1/MAPS directory,
load quake, then type MAP BETA2 from the console.
* If you don't have a MAPS directory under your ID1 dir,
create one. This is where to put all addon quake levels.
* To bring up the console press the ~ key while in the game.
* Play Information *
Game : Quake Registered
Single Player : No - But you can use it to look around
Cooperative 2-4 Player : No - No monsters, no Co-Op.
Deathmatch 2-6 Player : Yes - but best with more players.
Deathmatch 6+ Player : Yes - This is where the fun begins.
Difficulty Settings : No - Makes no difference, it's deathmatch! :-)
Capture the Flag : No - I considered it but not the right kind of level.
New Graphics : No - id graphics rule, why change them :)
* Construction *
Base : Created completely from scratch.
Editor(s) used : Worldcraft 1.0a
Known Bugs : Theres a minor bug with the zombies on the lower floor,
its nothing, but it just bugs me. They are not aligned
properly. I couldn't be bothered recompiling the level
just to make the zombies look nice, so I will leave it
for now, unless I find some spare time :)
Build time : A very, VERY long time.
